Job Opportunity Inventory Supervisor with Crescent, Edwardsville, IL

Crescent, a multi-faceted supply chain service provider, is opening a new facility in Edwardsville, IL. The Inventory Supervisor is an opportunity to help establish this new operation and pick your team. You will oversee the daily inventory and cycle counts while supervising your team and meeting the needs of our customers. This role requires an exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of tracking and batch counting.
As Inventory Supervisor, you will:
Work with site Inventory Coordinators and leadership to ensure proper daily inventory and cycle counts, including performing periodic audits
Resolve any inventory issues with customers, including reconciling differences of product counts
Train and supervise Inventory Coordinators on daily responsibilities
Perform inventory audits as necessary, including conducting 2nd counts on inventory
Bring your exceptional inventory experience, customer focus and leadership skills along with your:
Associate degree in related field and 2-3 years experience in manufacturing or logistics environment (preferably in food), or 5 years experience in lieu of degree
Experience in industry tracking batches
Strong ability to effectively build both internal and external relationships to ensure optimal service to customers
Ability to be a strong leader for directly reporting employees to develop a motivated, engaged workforce
Experience working with warehousing operations system
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Willingness to travel to PA and Cincinnati for initial training
