Job Opportunity Production Manager with Crescent, Edwardsville, IL

We need a Production Manager to coordinate the daily operations and productivity of our packaging production area.
Crescent, a multi-faceted supply chain service provider committed to meeting the high standards of our Fortune 500 client base, is opening a new facility in Edwardsville, IL. The Production Manager is a key role in establishing this new operation. You will lead your team and work with various departments to coordinate process and production flow within packaging. This role requires being able to see the plan and implement it, the ability to exercise diplomacy, and the talent to assemble and manage a great team. This is not a desk job!
Bring your exceptional leadership skills, planning expertise, and forward thinking attitude along with your:
Bachelors degree in related field , preferred, and 5
years experience in production/manufacturing environment including managing personnel
SQF (Safe Quality Foods) certification, preferred, or other similar food safety certification
Proven ability to recognize and implement continuous improvement methodology
Strong multi-tasking and organizational ability
Ability to be a strong leader for directly reporting employees and temporary associates to develop a motivated, engaged workforce
Ability to work with Plant Manager in costing/quoting of packaging business, including staffing, speed, and line layout
Experience working with MS Office, Outlook, and Warehouse Management software
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Willingness to travel to PA and Cincinnati for initial training
