POSITION
Summary:
Under the direction of the Recreational Sports Director, the Recreational Sports Staff will be responsible for safely supervising and refereeing participants in youth sports leagues.
The position is a combination of time spent officiating, as well as instructing kids aged 3-14 on various sports including soccer, volleyball, basketball, football, and others! Although knowing sports help in our program, it is not required.

Essential Functions:
1.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of soccer, volleyball, basketball, and football with a willingness to learn and coach other sports 2.
Availability to work 8-15 hours per week 3.
Availability to work Saturdays 4.
Safely supervise, officiate, and engage participants in youth sports leagues 5.
Setup, maintain and clean up all sports equipment 6.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Prior participation as an athlete in a recreational, high school, or collegiate program is preferred.
Experience working with children ages 3-14 years old CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of the community, social, and economic segments of the community.
Excellent judgment and decision-making skills Must be able to work throughout the duration of the summer camp program WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS ? Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
